This light impurity separator is specifically designed to handle light impurities and residue during the initial screening process of raw materials. This effectively captures and expels the light impurities from the system.
The rotor’s pulp outflow chamber is positioned higher than the underside of the shell, creating another low pressure area around the rotor. This facilitates the collection of heavy impurities. Under the influence of centrifugal force, these impurities are thrown to the outermost part of the vortex and collected in a groove located outside the sieve plate for easy removal. Importantly, this design reduces wear on the cutter and sieve plate, resulting in a longer service life for both components.
