In a key European project, Leizhan Machinery has provided its expertise to a Polish tissue paper factory for the construction of a dedicated wastewater treatment facility. The engineering design for this facility is built around solving four core challenges. The primary goal was choosing an advanced, reasonable treatment process with optimized design parameters to ensure stable capacity for 800 m³/day. The system is designed for stable operation to meet effluent targets, including provisions for potential future process intensification. A significant feature is the integration of a high-efficiency anaerobic segment to reduce overall energy demand and allow for biogas reuse, merging environmental goals with circular economy benefits. Additionally, a complete sludge treatment system was designed, focusing on sludge utilization and responsible final disposal.
