Orderly Stop & Web Break: Stop the machine, return speed to zero, and retract slitting knives via the pneumatic system. In case of a web break, quickly lift knives, engage brakes, and raise the rider roll.
Splicing Procedure: Splice by applying double-sided tape 10mm from the torn edge, ensuring a straight, tight bond with 5mm margins to prevent layer adhesion.
Finished Roll Handling: When the roll meets size requirements, lift the rider roll (and knives if changing the parent roll), retract chucks, and use the pneumatic pusher to discharge the roll onto the unloading platform for subsequent weighing and packaging.
Parent Roll Change & Full Shutdown: After completing a large parent roll, disengage the clutch, remove the core shaft, and crane it away. For extended stops, shut down hydraulic/pneumatic systems, the edge trim fan, and cooling water.
