Inside the eccentric pulper, the rotor is offset from the center of the tub, creating an asymmetric flow pattern that reduces dead zones. The double‑cone sieve plate improves screening efficiency. Because the twisted rope of the ragger moves in a wider area far from the rotor, the rope experiences less tension and wear. This design also lowers the rotor’s torque requirement, contributing to the 20% energy saving. The eccentric pulper operates at 4–8% consistency, balancing fiber separation and contaminant integrity.
