Efficient Paper Manufacturing Machine Rewinder
The rewinder is a vital finishing machine that transforms paper machine jumbo rolls into saleable parent rolls of exact width and density. This paper mill plant machinery adopts a top paper feeding configuration, which provides excellent web stability and reduces dust generation compared to bottom feed systems. The rewinder’s unwind stand features a pneumatically actuated brake with circulating water cooling, ensuring consistent braking torque even during prolonged high-speed operation. Inside the rewinder, a precision slitter assembly holds multiple upper circular knives that engage with a long-life bottom blade roll, each knife independently adjustable for quick setup changes.
Hydraulic cylinders control the pressure between the finished roll and the support rollers, automatically adjusting nip load as the roll diameter grows to maintain uniform hardness from core to surface. The rewinder also includes a hydraulic paper pushing device that ejects completed rolls onto a discharge conveyor, minimizing operator intervention. With its heavy-duty welded frame and vibration-damping design, this rewinder handles high inertia loads with ease, making it ideal for corrugated and kraft mills.
