How to Choose Paper Making Machine

A kraft paper machine is designed to process longer fibers—typically from virgin softwood pulp—to produce strong, dense sheets with high tear resistance. It runs at 350–700 m/min and requires more refining energy and drying surface per ton. The final product serves as the outer plies of corrugated board or as standalone heavy-duty bags. A corrugated paper machine, on the other hand, is built for recycled OCC with short fibers and high contaminant levels. It runs faster and includes extensive screening, cleaning, and dispersion stages. The resulting fluting medium is lightweight and used as the corrugated core between liners.

Select a kraft paper machine when you have a stable supply of virgin kraft pulp or high-quality recycled fiber, and you aim to produce higher-margin products such as white-top liner, sack kraft, or specialty packaging. This machine requires a higher initial investment but yields better returns per ton. Select a corrugated paper machine when your region generates large volumes of OCC waste paper, your priority is low production cost per ton, and you can operate at high speeds to offset lower margins. It is the preferred choice for e-commerce packaging and standard shipping boxes.

Whether you need a new kraft paper machine for premium liner production or a high-speed corrugated paper machine for recycled fluting, we provide turnkey solutions with proven energy efficiency and low maintenance requirements. Our machines are built to last and backed by global service support. Request your proposal now: leizhanworld@gmail.com
